Digital Literacy
In Ga-Phaahla, five primary schools and two secondary schools serve children from deeply underprivileged homes. Many of these children have never touched a computer, tablet, or smartphone. To them, technology is a novelty — not a tool.
Our Digital Literacy Programme changes that. We provide:
- Tablets — rugged, child-friendly devices loaded with educational apps
- WiFi Infrastructure — reliable internet connectivity for each school
- ICT Teacher Support — funding dedicated support teachers to develop digital skills
- UK Partnerships — virtual classrooms linking Ga-Phaahla with schools in the UK

Our first partner school. WiFi installed in 2021. 10 tablets donated by Redmaids' Girls' Junior School, UK. Dedicated ICT support teacher funded since 2022. Virtual classroom exchanges with UK partners ongoing.

First 10 of 30 tablets provided in March 2023. Children from underprivileged homes, eager to develop digital skills. Teachers keen to equip students for the 21st century. Programme expanding with donor support.

Developing Visual Arts
Moses Tladi was a visual artist who changed history. We believe every child in Ga-Phaahla carries that same creative potential — they just need the canvas.
We aim to use the tablets we donate not just for maths and reading, but for creativity:
Our Plans are:
- Digital Art Workshops — Children learn to create paintings, drawings, and designs using digital tools
- Tladi's Legacy — Students study Tladi's landscapes and create their own interpretations of the Limpopo bushveld
- Online Gallery — Children's artwork is displayed in our Digital Gallery, connecting their creativity to a global audience
- Art Competitions — Regular competitions with prizes funded by auction proceeds
